record review: Jeremy Fisher’s Flood

From Montreal

Genre: Pop

FTWL: A.C. Newman, Hawksley Workman, Sloan, MBF, Vampire Weekend

Tracks: 4, 7, and 10

Light, upbeat and airy. A great pop album with sunny lyrics and a rich instrumentation. Fisher delivers eastern Canadian pop with a central Canadian folk twist. Think that dreamy guy in high school who always had the best pot, a great relationship with his parents, and was always up for cutting class to make out.
